Mrs Armitage creates a rather zany vehicle with many different additions.
Lessons will take place inside and outside. We have twenty-four children in year one this year, six girls and eighteen boys.
Year 1 Archived Activities – 2017 to 2018
All about me Autumn 2: We decided to go on our very own Bear Hunt around the school. All children need their full PE kit in school on these days. We homeworl you have a peaceful and enjoyable day.
All of the children are working hard to develop their independence and learn new things with some help from Mr Brayson and Mrs Johnson. We are also conducting an investigation to determine the best conditions for growing plants. These assessment tasks are designed to provide evidence to support our end of year judgements.
We have been learning to represent numbers using tens and ones equipment. Homeworkk year Class 2 is made up of 26 children.
Year 2 – Hathern Primary School
The all enjoyed the task and created some wonderful designs. Each day your child reads at home they will earn a sticker for their chart.
Children will complete assessments in reading and maths arithmetic and reasoning. Therefore, I’ve included links below to some of the websites we use. Mrs Dryden is our class teacher and we are often supported by Mrs Mills. The children will be given a grid with 9 different activities, they must choose at least 3 pieces to complete.
The children in year one are five and six years old.

We took photographs holding the name of our chosen future career. Spellings Each week children will receive a list of 4 words to ,learn to read and spell. Great Fire of London Spring 2: Writing will be assessed through a wide range of pieces moray independent writing from across the school year.
Little Hoole Primary School – Year 2
Linking in with our creative curriculum topic, we have been learning about the work of Andy Goldsworthy. Have a go at spotting the mistakes Our learning Mathsmallows This term we have been looking at 2D and 3D shapes. Our creative curriculum topic this half-term is plants and animals; we’ve been studying rainforests – some of the creatures are incredibly unusual!
The children can choose which ever piece of homework they would like off that grid to bring in each Thursday.
We were working in small groups to give the bee-bots simple instructions and controlling them from one picture to another. In Year 2 we are working hard to join our yomework and to write cursively all the time.
